Pakistan board will postpone this important series due to PSL, shocking decision

The PCB has taken a shocking decision to fit the Pakistan Super League (PSL) into the schedule. According to reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board will go ahead with the home series against the West Indies due to the PSL. The dates of PSL and West Indies series are clashing with each other and due to this the series will be postponed further.

According to the Future Tour Program, the West Indies team has to tour Pakistan in February-March next year for two Tests and three T20 matches. The PSL is also usually held during this time. In such a situation, PCB wants to postpone the West Indies series so that there is no hindrance in organizing PSL.

PCB also demanded changes in the schedule of International League T20

PSL can be organized from 12 February to 10 March. In such a situation, the PCB has urged the Emirates Cricket Board to change the schedule of the International League T20 as well. The second edition of the International League T20 will be played in the UAE from January 13 to February 12. According to the report of ESPN Cricinfo, the Pakistan board has demanded 10 days exemption. In lieu of this, PCB has asked to give NOC to its players to play in International League T20. This did not happen during the first season.

However, after postponing the West Indies series, the problem before Pakistan will be whether they will get it done after Ramadan. Because after this IPL is also to be organized and many players of West Indies play in the IPL. If there is a clash of this series with IPL, then many veteran players may remain absent from this series. On the other hand, if Test matches are organized in March-April, then Ramadan would be going on at that time.
