PBKS vs LSG: IPL 2023 Punjab Kings vs Lucknow Super Giants Match Report

In the 38th match of IPL 2023 played in Mohali, Lucknow Super Giants defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS vs LSG) by 56 runs. From here, the batting of Ayush Badoni and Marcus Stoinis was seen and both of them added 89 runs in 47 balls for the third wicket to take the score to 163.

Badoni scored 43 runs in 24 balls with the help of three fours and as many sixes. Stoinis managed to score a half-century and played a blistering inning of 72 runs in 40 balls. Nicholas Pooran also played a stormy innings and took his team’s score beyond 250. He scored 45 runs in 19 balls before getting out in the last over. Lucknow scored the second highest score in IPL history. Deepak Hooda remained unbeaten on 11 and Krunal Pandya scored 5 runs. Kagiso Rabada took two wickets for Punjab Kings.

Chasing a big target in this PBKS vs LSG match, Punjab got off to a bad start. Captain Shikhar Dhawan became the victim of Marcus Stoinis by scoring just 1 run. Prabhsimran Singh also went on to score 9 runs in 13 balls. From here, Atharva Tayde shared a half-century partnership with Sikandar Raza and took the score past 100.
