IPL 2024: Punjab Kings gave big responsibility to former RCB coach

There are still 10 days left for the mini auction of IPL 2024. Before this auction, all the franchises are continuously preparing for the coming season. In such a situation, Punjab Kings have given a big responsibility in their team to former Indian player and former coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Sanjay Bangar in IPL. Punjab has chosen Sanjay Bangar as the head of cricket development so that he can work for the betterment of the team.

Sanjay Bangar will return to Punjab team after 8 years in IPL 2024. Under his leadership, Punjab Kings played cricket from 2014 to 16. In 2014, the Punjab team had reached the finals for the first time and now once again Sanjay Bangar has been given a big responsibility in the team. After IPL 2023, RCB removed Sanjay Bangar from the post of coach and now he will be seen taking on new responsibilities for the Kings.

We have a good group of players, which is evident from the fact that we have had the lowest number of players released from our team this year. The challenge will be to provide the best support to the team during and after the season to strengthen the team and drive success.
