Ganguly has also agreed to participate in the role of the committee after visiting Eden Gardens and has also said that the work is in progress and will be completed in due course.

5 matches will be played in the Eden Gardens of Kolkata in the World Cup, which will also include the great match of the second semi-final of this tournament. Apart from Ganguly, former CAB president Avishek Dalmiya is also a part of the committee as well as CAB chief Snehashish Ganguly.

We have formed a 12-member committee for the World Cup. Sourav and Avishek, who are members of the IPL Governing Council, have also been included. We all are ready to achieve success in this great Yagya.
It is known that the ODI World Cup is to be held in India from October 5, where the first match will be played between the defending champions England and the runners-up New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. At the same time, India will start its campaign against Australia on 8 October in Chennai. At the same time, the first match at Eden Gardens will be played between Netherlands vs Bangladesh on 28 October.
