The Bangladesh Cricket Board is perplexed by his decision as to why he suddenly retired three months before the World Cup. Therefore, BCB President Nazmul Hasan held an emergency meeting with the Board of Directors at City Hotel regarding this. Regarding this, he said, ‘We had to hold this meeting because of the sudden retirement of Tamim Iqbal. I didn’t expect it at all because we used to have frequent conversations.
