WI vs IND: ‘It is not easy being an Indian cricketer’ – Sanju Samson

Sanju Samson played a tremendous half-century in the third ODI against the West Indies in Trinidad. As soon as he came, he started hitting quick shots and scored fast. Sanju Samson has given a big reaction after his innings in WI vs IND. He said that being an Indian cricketer is not easy as I have been in and out for the last several years.

If we talk about Sanju Samson, he got a chance in the second ODI against West Indies but he flopped badly. Samson was dismissed after scoring 9 runs off 19 balls and was criticized for this. However, in the third ODI, he silenced his critics with his batting. Samson played a quickfire inning of 51 runs in 41 balls.

After the Indian team’s first innings, Sanju Samson said that he has become used to playing at different batting positions. They said,

Being an Indian cricketer is challenging enough. I have been playing domestic cricket for the last 8-9 years and have been in and out of the Indian team. That’s why you get to understand how to play in different positions. Batting position doesn’t matter, it’s the number of overs you get that matters.
Let us tell you that the Indian team won in WI vs IND in a bang in the third ODI. Team India defeated West Indies badly by 200 runs. In the second ODI, the Indian team had to face a humiliating defeat and the team was heavily criticized for this. However, the team made a tremendous comeback in the third ODI. Batting first, the Indian team made a mammoth score of 351/5 in 50 overs, in reply West Indies were all out for just 151 runs in the 36th over.
