World Cup qualifier schedule announced, Tournament to start from June 18

This year the ICC ODI World Cup will be organized in India from October. 8 teams have already been announced for this mega event of cricket but the names of 2 teams are yet to be sealed, for which World Cup Qualifier matches will be organized in Zimbabwe. The ICC has announced the dates, group and final schedule of the matches of the World Cup qualifiers. 10 teams will participate in the World Cup qualifiers, which also include legendary teams like Sri Lanka and West Indies.

The matches of the World Cup qualifiers will start from June 18, while the final match will be held on July 9. For this, 10 teams have been divided into two groups. Group A consists of West Indies, Zimbabwe, Netherlands, Nepal and USA and Group B consists of Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland, Oman and UAE. All the teams will play each other in group matches. The top three teams at the end of the group stage will qualify for the Super 6. 3 teams will be from Group A (A1, A2 and A3) and three teams will be from Group B (B1, B2 and B3).In Super 6 also all the teams will play against each other and top 2 teams of Super 6 will enter the finals. Along with this, he will also enter the ODI World Cup to be held in India. The final match will be played at Harare Sports Club on July 9. Hosts Zimbabwe vs Nepal and West Indies vs USA will be held on the first day of the World Cup qualifiers.

Recently South Africa entered the World Cup as the 8th team. Apart from host India, Australia, Pakistan, England, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and South Africa are the top 8 teams that have already entered the World Cup. Now the last two teams will be selected in the final of the World Cup qualifiers.
