Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni knee surgery has been successful. Dhoni was troubled by his knee injury throughout the IPL season and for this reason he had to undergo a surgery soon after the IPL season ended and according to reports, his operation was successful.
MS Dhoni is being treated under the supervision of renowned Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, Director of Sports and Sports Orthopedics, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute, Mumbai. Dr. Denshaw Padriwal has also treated Team India’s star wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant. Before leaving for Mumbai, MS Dhoni discussed his injury and surgery with the Chennai Super Kings management and the franchise sent team physician Dr. Madhu to Mumbai with Dhoni.

Kashi Vishwanath, CEO of Chennai Super Kings told that the surgery has been successful. Speaking to Cricbuzz, he said,
I spoke to MS Dhoni after the operation. I can’t tell what his surgery was like but he seemed absolutely fine during the conversation.

In the final match of IPL 2023 played in Ahmedabad, Chennai Super Kings won the trophy by defeating Gujarat Titans. This is the reason why MS Dhoni had given a message to his fans after the end of IPL that he will not announce his retirement yet. Next year again, he would like to be fully fit and return to the field.
