Riyan Parag achieved this feat in the match against Chhattisgarh on Monday. He scored a century in just 56 balls, which is the second fastest century in Ranji Trophy history. The record for scoring the fastest century in Ranji history is in the name of Rishabh Pant, who scored a century in 48 balls against Jharkhand in the 2016-17 season. However, despite this brilliant innings of Riyan Parag, his team lost the match. Chhattisgarh easily defeated Assam by 10 wickets.
