T20I series final cancelled, league stage performance to decide winner

The Quadrangular T20I series was organized in Bulgaria from 23 to 25 June, in which four teams participated. The final match between Serbia and Bulgaria was abandoned due to rain but Serbia won the title by topping the league stage. The third-place playoff between Turkey and Croatia was also canceled due to rain, but Turkey finished third thanks to a win against Croatia in the league stage.

Three matches were played on 23 June, the first day of the tournament. In the first match Serbia beat Turkey by 70 runs, in the second match Bulgaria beat Croatia by 9 wickets and in the third match Serbia beat Bulgaria by 5 wickets.

Three matches were also played on 24 June, the second day of the tournament. Turkey beat Croatia by 8 wickets in the fourth match. In the fifth match, Serbia beat Croatia by 9 wickets and in the sixth match, Bulgaria beat Turkey by 8 wickets.

On 25 June, the final and third-place playoff were abandoned due to rain and a wet outfield in this T20I series. Serbia’s Aleksandar Dzija top-scored in the tournament with 111 runs, while Serbia’s Mark Pavlovic was the top-scorer with 11 wickets in which he took 4 wickets in two innings.

The record for the best score in an innings was also held by Alexander Dziza, who scored 91 against Turkey in the first match. Apart from him, Ishaq Alek of Turkey scored a half-century in the sixth match against Bulgaria. The record for the best bowling figures in an innings was held by Prakash Mishra of Bulgaria, who took 5/16 against Croatia in the second match.

If we talk about the team record, then the record of the biggest score in an innings was in the name of Serbia, who made 181/8 against Turkey in the first match.
